As a journalist of 23 years and author of six books, my USP is a track record of innovation in editorial campaigns in a newsroom environment at a senior management level, years of proven success in a variety of mediums from digital to print, creating and pushing the conversation around ageing, mental health, diversity, work practices, health and sport, and women’s issues through the medium of book writing.
Currently freelance and working as a consultant, author and public speaker, my career has spanned decades, and my outlook on life hinges around reinvention and resilience. A competitive powerlifter and grappler (including freestyle wrestling!) I’m able to bring a fresh outlook to work and trouble-shooting, as well as years of professional experience.
I’ve worked in the space of women’s equality for over 20 years, and have worked in the advocacy space for a better understanding of mental health for the last 10 years. I’m an ambassador for the suicide prevention charity CALM.
