As a journalist of 23 years, my USP is a track record of innovation in ground-breaking editorial campaigns in a newsroom environment at a senior management level, and years of proven success in a variety of mediums from digital to print, creating and pushing the conversation around ageing, mental health, diversity, work practices, health and sport, and women’s issues.

Currently freelance and working as a consultant, author and public speaker, my career has spanned decades, and my outlook on life hinges around reinvention and resilience. A competitive powerlifter and recent adopter of grappling sports (including freestyle wrestling!) I’m able to bring a fresh outlook to work and trouble-shooting, as well as years of professional experience.

I’ve worked in the space of women’s equality for over 20 years, and have worked in the advocacy space for a better understanding of mental health for the last 10 years. I’m an ambassador for the suicide prevention charity CALM and for Bookmark, the children’s literacy charity.
